Tejas brings a strategic business perspective to sustainable design consulting, having driven business growth for OYO across three countries and developed programs that trained 1,700+ people throughout India. His architectural education at IIT Kharagpur, paired with his expertise in scaling operations and building high-performing teams, enables him to understand how architecture practices grow and the design systems they need to support that growth. After years of working on freelance design projects alongside Akhila during their university days and maintaining their design partnership even while pursuing separate careers, Tejas recognized the opportunity to formalize their collaboration. In 2020, he co-founded What if Design, channeling his strategic mindset toward addressing climate challenges. His focus on business outcomes ensures that every design solution not only looks exceptional but also drives measurable results—from winning client proposals to positioning firms as sustainability leaders.
