At IIT Kharagpur, she developed a passion for design that solves real-world problems at scale. This foundation has enabled her to translate complex technical concepts into intuitive user experiences, particularly for climate tech and sustainability-focused organizations. Akhila leads our strategic design initiatives, ensuring every project aligns with both business objectives and broader environmental impact goals. Her approach combines rigorous user research with creative problem-solving, resulting in designs that not only look exceptional but drive measurable business outcomes.

Tejas brings a unique blend of business acumen and design thinking to What if Design. Before co-founding the company, he drove business growth for OYO across three countries, scaling operations in highly competitive markets. His experience training over 1,700 people throughout India gave him deep insights into how organizations scale and how design can be a catalyst for growth. At IIT Kharagpur, Tejas developed his design skills while collaborating with Akhila on freelance projects, building the foundation for their future partnership. His corporate experience taught him how to align design decisions with business strategy, ensuring every creative choice supports measurable outcomes. Tejas leads our client partnerships and business strategy, translating complex organizational needs into clear design briefs. His ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and design teams has been instrumental in helping clients raise funding, launch successful products, and achieve their growth objectives.
