Akhila brings a unique architectural perspective to digital design, having designed innovative LEED-certified buildings and large-scale urban interventions worth over $100 million that impacted millions of people. Her background in sustainable architecture informs her approach to creating digital experiences that are both beautiful and purposeful. Before co-founding What if Design, she honed her skills creating spatial solutions that balanced aesthetics with functionality. She studied architecture at IIT Kharagpur, where she first collaborated with Tejas on freelance design projects. Today, she leads What if Design's creative vision, applying systems thinking and user-centered design principles to help climate tech and purpose-driven organizations translate complex innovations into intuitive digital experiences. Her work focuses on making great design accessible to organizations working on humanity's most pressing challenges.

Before co-founding What if Design, he drove business growth for OYO across three countries, scaling operations and building high-performing teams in fast-paced startup environments. He also ran training programs that equipped over 1,700 people throughout India with essential business skills. His architecture education at IIT Kharagpur, where he studied alongside Akhila, gave him a strong foundation in problem-solving and systems design. At What if Design, Tejas focuses on ensuring that every design solution aligns with clients' business objectives and delivers measurable results. His experience working with major organizations, unicorns, and venture-backed startups gives him unique insight into what it takes to create products that users love and businesses can grow. He's passionate about democratizing access to world-class design for organizations tackling climate change and sustainability challenges.
