Her architectural background gives her a systems-thinking approach to UX design—understanding how individual touchpoints connect to create cohesive user experiences. At IIT Kharagpur, where she studied architecture, Akhila developed her collaborative design philosophy working on evening freelance projects with Tejas. Today, she leads What if Design's strategic design initiatives, applying the same rigor she brought to large-scale urban planning to craft digital products that serve millions of users. Akhila's work has helped climate tech companies raise funding, enterprise platforms scale their user base, and purpose-driven organizations communicate complex innovations through compelling visual narratives.

Before co-founding the company, he drove aggressive business growth for OYO across three countries, scaling operations and building high-performing teams in competitive markets. His experience running training programs for over 1,700 people throughout India taught him how to communicate complex concepts clearly—a skill that now informs What if Design's user-centered approach. At IIT Kharagpur, where he studied architecture alongside Akhila, Tejas discovered his passion for solving business problems through design thinking. Today, he leads What if Design's client strategy and ensures every project aligns with measurable business outcomes. Tejas's deep understanding of growth metrics, conversion optimization, and user acquisition helps clients translate beautiful design into tangible results—whether that's accelerating pilot programs, unlocking investment rounds, or winning strategic partnerships. His work has helped startups raise millions and established enterprises reimagine their customer experiences.
